The essential oils found in our ANCIENT HERB face oil have been used for millennia to heal, moisturize, and rejuvenate. Frankincense was used by ancient Egyptians for a myriad of purposes--from moisturizer to sun-blocking eyeliner--before becoming a staple of traditional Persian and Chinese medicine. Geranium oil--originally cultivated in Mesopotamia--is an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory that promotes clear and healthy skin. Lavender, clove, and clary sage complete a restorative cocktail that draws on centuries of human experience and refinement. And the sweet aroma...

USES

Containing oils that are anti-inflammatories as well as antioxidants, our ANCIENT HERB face oil is best used as a facial moisturizer and anti-aging agent.  A base of carrier oils from apricot, almond and avocado provide moisture to the skin without leaving it slippery. With a light massage, the potent essential oils penetrate deep into the skin and unleash their rejuvenating powers.

NOTE:

Apricot kernel, sweet almond, and avocado oils have low ratings on the comedogenic (pore clogging) scale. Therefore, this oil is good for acne-prone skin. The essential oils will help fight acne-causing bacteria as well.

DIRECTIONS:

I recommend performing a patch test in order to make sure you are not sensitive to any of the ingredients. Apply a small amount of facial oil to the skin of the upper forearm. Leave on for 24 hours. If any redness, itching or irritation is observed at any time throughout the test, do not use the product

Apply a few drops of facial oil to clean, damp skin. A facial mist can be applied before or after application to maximize moisturizing benefits. Massage thoroughly into face and neck. Massage not only helps stimulate collagen production, but also assists in lymph drainage. ROSEHIP facial balm can be applied on top of facial oil for extra moisturizing in the evening.
